Around 2,000 people attend garden party hosted by emperor, empress+

TOKYO, April 16 (AP) - (Kyodo)—A total of 1,994 people including top athletes, scientists and performers attended a spring garden party on Thursday hosted by Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko at Akasaka Estate in Tokyo, the Imperial Household Agency said.
