Book reveals new look at Japan's 'forced deaths'

The book "Shiirareru Shi" ("Forced deaths"), describes the last days of those who were driven to kill themselves. The author of the book, Takao Saito, sheds light on a society that has forced many people to kill themselves from various angles: the postal privatization that has sharply increased employees' workloads; institutional bullying in the Self-Defense Forces and schools, and despair and multiple debts caused by the Services and Supports for Persons with Disabilities Act to disabled people.
